Import And Export Option to Save OST Mailbox As PST File [Manual]

Note: In this method, you must be connected to the MS Exchange server & have MS Outlook installed on your system. 

Step 1 - First, open MS Outlook and click “File Menu” at the top left corner of Outlook.




Step 2Now select “Open & Export” option from the tab list. Then click the “Import/Export” option.

Step 3 - Import and Export Wizard” dialogue box will open up and asking you to “Choose an action to perform” then Click on “Export to a file” and then click on “Next” button to continue.
Step 4 - On next screen “Export to a File” dialogue box will open up and asking you to “Create a file of type” then Click on “Outlook Data File (.pst)” and then click on “Next” button to continue.
Step 5 - On next screen “Export Outlook Data File” dialogue box will open up and asking you to “Select the Folder to export from” then select the files to be exported and then click on “Next” button to continue.
Step 6 -Click on Browse to be save file to the select destination. Choose the option from the list “Allow duplicates to be created” and then click on the “Finish” button.


Step 7 -Once procedure is done, a new pop-up will come up and is asking you to provide an optional password. You can go ahead without providing it and click on the “OK” button and your OST file will be automatically saved in PST format at the selected destination.
